I only picked up as I was expecting a call from the dentist and the area code matched what I was expecting to see. He said he was calling from EE and wanted to go through my existing EE bill with me. I told him I don't have any existing EE bills, then he said he made a mistake and wanted to offer me a new EE deal that was way better than what I have already. Told him I highly doubt that and hung-up on him.

Claimed to be from Sky and wanted to offer a 30% discount on my account. Then started to ask me to confirm my monthly payment. I said I didn’t have it to hand. He is going to call back today. I have tried calling the number back but it won’t connect. I then checked with Sky - not their number!

Claimed to be from Sky Broadband. They hung up as soon as i said i’d never used Sky.
