Called to say I was due a refund on PCP. Heavily accented Asian male voice. Knew my (first?) name and a recent vehicle reg. Asked me to give address so they could send a cheque (is it really that easy when you haven't even submitted a claim???). I asked to verify who he was, after some hesitation gave me a company name which i didn't fully catch, google was inconclusive as his number (Leeds landline) didn't match the website and 'numbers we may call you on'. Was quite persistent, offered to call back later once I'd verified who he was. Number came up as "suspected spam" on my phone. Too many alarm bells for it to be true.
