0113 351 0050 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Ah listenening to it again it is MMF rather than Emma Mess...! As far as I'm aware there has never been a Daniel Plumber living here.

Automated call asking for a 'Daniel Plumber' (spoken in an American accent with the rest of the message in a Yorkshire accent) and an important matter regarding 'Emma Mess' and to call back on 0113 887 6876. No company name given.

i have had the same as other people ringing me up and asking for a name to get in touch with them on an automated system when we are the only people that have lived at our address what can be done with these annoying calls it is driving me mad

I have been repeatedly called by this company MMF Fairmile on my work number - for a person who ha never worked for the company. I have today threatened them with the FCA and the OFT around their dialling practices

This number calls saying someone owes money and asking to ring back. I've tackled them before but after a few months they start up the calls again. Bloody nuisance, should be able to sue them for causing anxiety.

They keep ringing my home phone. Automated message for someone who has never lived here. Says they owe money and to get in touch on number I couldn't catch and quote this reference number.

MMF - Motor Miles Finance - based in Leeds. This set of morons buy up outstanding depts from other companies that have given up chasing for them. Even if they contain the wrong info. Most of the depts are coming up to the date where they can no longer be chased. (Beyond 6 years old) They are a 'third party' collection agency. They cannot send in the Bailiffs. Or take you to Court. Or even "We'll send someone round to collect the money". It is a breach of their license. Unless you invite them to do so. Wonga got into trouble for breaching their license last month. These A-holes are the bottom of a very dirty barrel.
