Called me saying I had spoken to them last week but as most of my calls are via secure apps I find that astounding...

Claimed to be Help for Hero’s, but voice was obviously put through a voice modifier.

The usual "Bank Security" recorded message... but from a different phone number. Yawn. Spineless low-lifes preying...

3.18pm 29/8/24. Number not recognised so not answered. Caller rang off when voicemail kicked in.

01556350144 Tryed phone back Potential. Fraud the number you have called does not be recognized

Line beeped then said "goodbye" and hung up. Not sure what or who they were but phone marked as 'Potential Fraud'

Call went to voicemail but no message left - sure sign of a scam

Hung up as soon as I answered

Computer generated voice with American accent claiming to be from HMRC. Blocked.

They disconnected once I picked up.
