0333 155 2939 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Every day this number rings on my mobile phone and now it is even ringing my land line, so I now get it in duplicated every day!

Didn't answer and blocked 0333 155 2939

i looked up the number and it said this is a landline number, I know the whole stranger danger and I didn't call back but people are saying this is a harassing PPI company so please get them to stop x

Got a missed call from 03331 552939 - charged me for not answering. Called back from work mobile, heard a slow autmoated voice saying that I was contacted by their automated service (with no ref. as to who the company is) and that if I'm called again I can press 9 and it will take me off their database and they will never call me again.

Call on 20 July 2015 received on a separate phone I only ever use for my immediately family and the children's schools (which are now closed anyway). So I assume they are just randomly dialling number combinations and hoping for the best. Didn't pick it up, but they left no message.

Got a call from this number at 10:00 on 20th July. Didn't pick up. Glad I didn't judging by the comments below.

Got a call from this number on an old number I rarely use. As soon as I answered they hung up. I thought I should google the number to find out who it was and this site was the first on the list. Very strange.....

Received a call from this number today, I didn't speak but answered the call. They didn't speak either, just hung up. Called it back from a withheld number and received an automated message asking me to press '9' the next time they call to remove me from their database!!! No other information in regards to who they are or what they want. I have barred the number.

My mobile rang, answered it and they hung up. Suspect there will now be several more as they often test to see if it's working before bombarding people with spam... Is there any way we can get this spam number barred???

Calls like this really annoy me. I never answer them anymore because I know they're mainly always automated. Almost all the time it's about PPI.

No-one there when I answered - just clicked over to dialling tone, but seeing other reports makes me realise that this is a spam call.

This number calls constantly, sometimes two or three times a day. Every time I answer they hang up without saying a word. Started getting them to house phone, now receiving the calls on my mobile.

Another call to my mobile, these people are persistent and annoying. In the past this number has called and tried to get remote access to my PC, claiming to be from Microsoft. I also inadvertently picked up a call some 6 months ago from the same number but this time these scam artists were referring to PPI claims . I have a cheap mobile, so there is no blocking facility on there, my simple solution of entering their number under the name 'Ignore' has saved virtually a call a day for the past 6 months, although I now check the number and if I don't recognise it refuse to pick up. A word of warning-they, along with other con-artists change the last few digits of their number intermittently too. I consider this harassment and should be illegal

Just answered a call from this number and they hung up immediately. Am with EE and I agree with earlier message that they sell on your numbers with no regard for their customers. Am considering changing contracts.
