Woman rang asking if I was Suzanne. My name’s Jim. I asked what she wanted and she said rather ominously “You’ll find out.”

Didn’t answer as knew it would be spam. Message left by ‘Compare my policy’. Not wanted or ‘knowingly consented’ to my number being shared with them. Blocked.

Just got a call from this number too didn’t answer the call I new it was a scam.

they said they were calling about my life insurace and wanted to confirm details with me. knew my name! i actually had a missed call from them, so i rang the number back and they picked up within seconds, no menus or automated stuff to go through! asked them to call me back later blocked the number.

Rang for just a few seconds so didn’t have time to answer, no message left so came here to check.

Ansaphone message - claiming to be from Compare Insurance - blocked.

States that he was from an insurance compare company. When asked how he and his colleagues get my number he said they get direct from insurance companies. This should not be allowed as info we give to companies is private and confidential. The law should be changed so that we must give direct consent before our details can be passed on.

Hi I got a call from this number too, just now, didn’t answer it though

A fellow called my wife's mobile and said that she had requested information about life assurance - SHE WOULD NOT DO THAT AS I HAVE BEEN IN THAT BUSINESS FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS! He then said that it would be nice to have a second opinion - I got really angry as he does not know our circumstances and I said to remove us from his list!
