As above reports says they are 02 and due to COVID they are offering a 40% discount. I had a call from the same number last week and she said due to the high number of COVID deaths 02 were offering huge discounts ????

Scam caller pretending to be O2 offering a 40% discount due to 'losing customers'. Read out the code thinking they would realise I don't have a monthly 02 account. They get 02 to send two texts, the second being a code that you have to tell them, my son said hang up on them, it's a scam. They even called back when the call ended. The text messages showed up as being from O2 UK

Received a call from this number pretending to be from o2 asking me to relay the code they sent back to them wrt 40% discount for Covid.

Received a call from this number pretending to be from o2 asking me to relay the code they sent back to them. Phoned O2 and they confirmed it was a scam and it was someone trying to gain access to my account... DO NOT GIVE THEM THE CODE!!!

40% off my monthly payments to O2 offered. Sent a code for me to repeat to her. Told her that wouldn't be very secure and O2 doesn't work like that and that she was a scammer. Insisted that she wasn't. Kept her talking for 8 minutes before the thicko gave up. Quite enjoyed wasting her time by being kind to her and pretending that I was interested. Hope that she gets a kick up the arse for being so stupid!
