I just got a call from this number. It took 7 seconds for them to say anything and then it was a robotic, automated voice saying "we understand you were in a road traffic accident" etc etc. There was definitely not a human on the other end. Received a call from this on my mobile. A real person calling claiming to act on behalf of an insurance company, interested in an RTA that I was involved in within the last three years that wasn't my fault. HELPING TIPS:--- 1): Any call that starts with a gap of more than 2-4 seconds before anyone talks is a definite scam call. in fact unless you are a business its very easy to know, because logically you know the people who call you. So if you have any doubts, either reject the call, or if there is a gap, reject the call!!!!!! a 2): If the call has posh american female voice or (any other unknown voice) asking you to press phone keys, hang up no legitimate company in the world would ask you to press keys before advising you for its purpose. Received telephone call regarding the car accident I had (never had accident! ) If you have time, answer the caller asking “which Accident are you calling about as I’ve had two, it would be so good to get some compensation, Which accident are you calling about” They Don’t like the tables turned. This ‘company’ called me saying I had a car accident. So in my opinion they are calling me a drunk driver. And tried saying I had to supply them with my private information and they would send me a free IPhone 13 Pro. This is the what they said (to me): “We understand your recent car accident and we send you best wishes on recovery.” I hope this is helpful.Reply

When they rang me I told them I HAD been in an accident, but it was my fault and I caused the death of 4 people. They stammered a bit then I asked them could they help me with this! They hung up.Reply

There is a big market for phone number information, there is also a big demand for the list of people who have already been scammed the folk that scammed the victim will add the victims contact details plus how they got scammed, how much they were scammed out off. I know this because the police told me my name etc was on a scammers listReply

Yes, the car accident scam. I told them I was okay but my parrot had died and did they know where I might source a replacement as I was now very lonely. In the end he hung up. I like to think I wasted 5 minutes of the caller's miserable life.Reply
