They called my partner on her mobile and gave details about her. Then told her she had got through the first stage of a competition that she didn't enter. She passed the phone to me as she could understand what the guy was saying. He ask to speak to her again and I told him that she couldn't understand what he was saying and he hung up. After I asked her what details he gave and it was details that she has on Facebook. Have advised her to change her Facebook settings and never accept a friend request from someone she doesn't know. I would advise everyone to do the same. Don't let the scammers fool you!
Rang me on a Saturday evening and could not understand a word they said. I hung up and they rung me back. should be OFCOMed about cold calling

Had a phone call saying something about wining a competition and how do i block the number?
Called constantly when ignored they redialled 6 times. Never seem to give up.
This number keeps calling me at the same time every day and sometimes once in the evening, I'm always at work when they call so I have never answered it. I always Google strange numbers that call me, and Im glad I can never answer it. I'm now blocking this number!
Didn't pick as read these comments. Kept calling over and over again...very annoying. Blocked.
Called today, the Saturday before Christmas. Trying to sell me mobile deals I think. I put the 'phone down. They rang back indignant that I terminated their call and quite rude. I asked them never to call me again and I've now stored the number on my mobile so I don't pick up next time. Such an intrusion.
Phoned me saying some company name I couldn't hear and then said I'd entered a competition for an iPhone 5 or iPad. In order to 'go through the next stage' I had to answer yes or no to some questions. It all seemed a bit suspicious and when she asked me to confirm that my date of birth was a date it isn't, I realised that it was a scam to collect people's personal information.
